FaceChanger ("we") is a simple and user-friendly video production tool provided by Shanghai Houttuynia Information Technology Co., Ltd. ("Houttuynia"). FaceChanger recognizes the importance of protecting your privacy. We value your privacy and thank you for your trust. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how we handle user information collected through our applications (collectively, the "Platform"). This Policy governs the information collection and processing practices of the Platform. By downloading, using and/or accessing our services through the Platform, you explicitly agree to the information practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree with any terms in this Policy, please do not use our services.

Facial Data Policy

 

What facial data does our application collect?

 

We analyze users' photos to identify facial feature points (such as eyes, nose, mouth points) for facial processing. We do not collect facial data. After the analysis process is completed, all data will be deleted, and no data will be saved.

 

What is the purpose of collecting this information?

 

To provide users with their "face-changing" effects, the application needs to identify feature points (such as eyes, nose, mouth points). The complete process is: (1) You transfer the picture to our server. (2) The server analyzes your photo and returns the facial data processing results. (3) The application automatically synthesizes the facial data processing results and materials into the final effect. (4) This information is temporarily stored in encrypted storage on Alibaba Cloud. After the synthesis process is completed, your picture will be immediately and automatically deleted.

 

Will data be shared with any third parties? Where will this information be stored? Data will not be shared with any third parties. After the analysis process is completed, the photos you upload will be deleted.

 

1. Information We Collect

 

Contact Information. When you log in with an account from a third-party media website, we will collect your account information on that third-party website, generally including: account name, email address, phone number, and region.

 

Device Mac address, unique device identifiers (IMEI, MEID, ANDROID ID, IDFA, OPENUDID, OAID, SIM card IMSI information, device serial number, clipboard information, listening sensors, device sensors,acceleration sensors,gyro sensors. When the application is launched for the first time, we need to collect such information to confirm your unique identity and the authenticity of the device, so that we can provide you with consistent services. If you refuse to authorize the provision, you will not be able to enjoy consistent services, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions.

 

In addition, regarding the installed app list, running processes, running processes, and clipboard: The software itself does not access, use, or retain this information, but it may be used by the technical frameworks and third-party SDKs accessed by the software.

 

Information about your use of the Platform. We may collect your operational information on the Platform, mainly including the information you click, browse, download, share, and your search records, or any other information you provide in the process of using our services, so that we can provide you with the functions of the Platform.

 

Device and log information. When you use our services through the Platform, to ensure your normal use of our services and the smooth and secure operation of functions, improve and optimize your user experience, and protect your account security, we will collect your device and log information as follows: device model, language set on the phone, country/region on the phone, advertising ID, operating system and system version number, international mobile device identity (IMEI), login IP address, software version number, access method, type and status to the network, network quality data, operation logs, service log information.

 

Feedback information. When you contact us for feedback or customer service, we will collect the information and materials you submit, as well as your contact information (such as your phone number, email address) to contact you and answer your questions or provide other customer services to you.

 

If you no longer agree or explicitly revoke consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of you or device data, we (and any third party with whom you have an advertising service contract) will immediately stop all such use.

 

2. Permissions We May Request You to Authorize

 

To provide you with higher-quality and more efficient products and services and enhance your service experience, we may request you to authorize corresponding terminal device permissions in the following additional services we provide to you. We collect the following permissions and corresponding information in accordance with the standard of minimum data collection with your consent:

 

a、 Camera Permission: For video shooting;

 

b、 Read and Write External Storage: For reading and writing files on external storage for video editing;

 

c、 Receive Notification Messages: For receiving messages;

 

d、 Get Current Network Status: Remind users whether they are using mobile network or determine if the user's WiFi network is available;

 

e、 Facial Recognition: For specific theme template editing and short video production services, our application will collect the avatar photos you upload or take. To use part of the functions of theme templates that require matting, you can voluntarily allow our application to access the camera or album to obtain photos from your mobile device. Only after you confirm the permission can our application access your camera and album. When you use certain facial recognition functions (including but not limited to theme templates), we will automatically capture the positions and shapes of your five senses, analyze facial feature information, store this information on our server for photo processing, and return the effect picture to you. We will not store such processed photos, facial feature information, or effect pictures, nor share them with any third party.

 

f、 You can view the status of the above permissions in the system settings of the terminal device, and you can decide to turn on or off any one or all of the above permissions at any time. Please note that when you turn on any permission, it means that you authorize us to collect and use the personal information corresponding to that permission to provide you with the corresponding services above. Once you turn off any permission, it means that you cancel or revoke the authorization of that permission, and we will no longer continue to collect and use the corresponding personal information based on that permission, nor will we be able to provide you with services corresponding to this permission.

After the account is canceled, all video works and other contents published or uploaded by the account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Cancellation will result in your inability to use most of our services. Please consider carefully before actual operation.

We believe that parents are responsible for supervising their children's use of our products and services. We do not intentionally collect personal identifying information from children.

 

Our policy is not to require minors to provide personal information or propose to send any promotional materials to persons in such a category. We do not seek or intend to seek any personal information from minors.
